Receptionist/Administrator - Full time, permanent

30 hours per week (All Year Round)

St Anne’s Park & Broomhill Children’s Centre (part of East Bristol Children’s Centre)

Monday – Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Grade BG5 - £ 21,189 - £ 21,575 per annum, pro rata

Required – as soon as possible

Application deadline: Tuesday 24th January 2023 at midnight (extended 04.01.23)

Interview date: Thursday 9th February 2023 (time TBC)



East Bristol Children’s Centres are unique places for children and families offering many varied opportunities for young children and their parents to learn and develop.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to work at East Bristol Children’s Centres to provide high quality and effective administrative support.

We are seeking to appoint a team member who is:

  • Able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a busy setting.

  • An excellent communicator, with good people skills.

  • Well organised and proactive – a supportive team player.

  • Flexible, responsive and self-motivated.

  • Confident in handling confidential/ sensitive data and information.

  • Knowledgeable and competent in using Microsoft and Excel applications.

You will:

  • Organise and provide comprehensive, high quality administration support at East Bristol Children’s Centres.

  • Respond effectively to queries – written, telephone and face to face.

  • Use standard PC software for correspondence, data inputting and spreadsheets.

  • Provide general office duties – reception, post, filing, stationery, and finance support.
