Position Available- Deputy Family and Community Locality Manager
Part time (20 hours) Fixed Term 1 year
Deputy Family and Community Locality Manager to work across East Bristol Children’s Centres.
20 hours per week, the post is all year round and fixed term, Grade BG10.
East Bristol Children’s Centres are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Family and Community Locality Manager to lead family support services across the reach area in conjunction with the senior leadership team.
You will be passionate about meeting the needs of children and families providing a supportive and stimulating service and environment by organising community outreach, universal and targeted services and parenting skills training.
The role will involve working across a variety of East Bristol Children’s Centres sites;
• To support the area Family & Community Locality Manager in developing and leading services across the area.
• To work with children, young people, families, partnership organisations, the local community and relevant agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and their families.
• To assist and deputise in the absence of the Family & Community Locality Manager in providing family support for children and families.
• To manage on a day-to-day basis satellite buildings and family sessions.
You will be confident in establishing and building effective partnerships, developing and managing projects. You will also promote good equalities practice and value diversity across the service.
