Receptionist/Administrator


ROLE #1

22.5 hours per week over 3 days (All Year Round)

Part Time, 2 years fixed term contract

St Anne’s Park Children’s Centre (part of East Bristol Children’s Centre)

Working days to be confirmed at interview

Grade BG5 - £19,264 per annum, pro rata

Required – as soon as possible

Closing date: 11.08.2022 (Midnight)

Interview date: 25.08.22


ROLE #2

17 hours per week over 2 days (All Year Round)

Part Time, 2 years fixed term contract

Oldbury Court Children’s Centre (part of East Bristol Children’s Centre)

Working days to be confirmed at interview

Grade BG5 - £19,264 per annum, pro rata

Required – as soon as possible

Closing date: 11.08.2022 (Midnight)

Interview date: 25.08.22


East Bristol Children’s Centres are unique places for children and families offering many varied opportunities for young children and their parents to learn and develop.


These X2 roles are an exciting opportunity for an administrator to work at East Bristol Children’s Centres to provide high quality and effective administrative support.


We are seeking to appoint a team member who is:

  • Able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a busy setting.

  • An excellent communicator, with good people skills.

  • Well organised and proactive – a supportive team player.

  • Flexible, responsive and self-motivated.

  • Confident in handling confidential/sensitive data and information.

  • Knowledgeable and competent in using Microsoft and Excel applications.


You will:

  • Organise and provide comprehensive, high quality administration support at East Bristol Children’s Centres.

  • Respond effectively to queries – written, telephone and face to face.

  • Use standard PC software for correspondence, data inputting and spreadsheets.

  • Provide general office duties – reception, post, filing, stationery, and finance support.
