Our book theme for the past fornight has been the wonderful, Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell.

Have a go at this simple and fun hand print activity!
How about creating a paper plate snake from the Dear Zoo story! You can practice cutting skills and get as creative as you like with decorating your snakes!
How about trying these extremely easy lion masks that you could make with your little ones. Also great opportunity to develop their fine motor skills " Have fun
Playtime
How about creating a Dear Zoo exercise game! We used chalks to create this and then added how each animal moves, see how many times you can move like the animals or create your own!
Fun with Food
How about creating an animal sandwich for lunch! See if you can make some from the Dear Zoo story!
It's National Picnic month! How about enjoying the lovely weather we are having with a picnic, whilst staying safe in the sun. You could even take some animal teddies and make it a Dear Zoo themed picnic!
